Tina is a 5 year old female, medium sized dog. She is of mixed breed and brown in colour. She is good with other dogs. She is vaccinated and microchipped.

Tina had 5 puppies whilst she was living on the streets of Sarajevo.  She and her puppies were picked up and were taken to a pension (animal sanctuary).  They were starving and thirsty as they were only given food and water every 3 days and were always shut inside dog boxes.  They lived in their own faeces as the boxes were only cleaned every 8 days or so.

The weather was very hot, between 34-38 degrees, and because of these conditions one of the puppies died from starvation and malnutrition.

Tina was badly mistreated and became fearful of people and the puppies were scared and traumatised.  Sejla rescued Tina and the 4 surviving puppies.  One of them needed urgent veterinary treatment.

Tina was so broken that for a long time nobody could touch her or go near to her.  After some veterinary care and medication, and a lot of love, Tina began to trust Sejla.  She had a successful operation for an inflamed colon, and she is now a kind and gentle dog, living happily at the shelter.
