Before Sejla had her own Shelter, she heard the story of German Shepherd dog, Rex. She felt she had to do something, as he had been abandoned twice.
The first time some uncaring people took him to the forest and left him there, but he found his way back. This time, they closed the gates of their property, so that Rex couldn’t get back in. He just stood there in front of those gates, but they would not let him in.
After a few days, he arrived in Sejla’s yard. She set about finding a sponsor for him, and arranged for him to live in a pension until a home could be found for him. Whilst at the pension, Sejla had him neutered and taught him to dance! He now lives happily in the permanent home that Sejla found for him.
