Poor little Sussie ! She became very well-travelled back in the summer of 2016, when the Banovici private shelter became so flooded that pleas went out to dog rescuers in Bosnia for help.
Sejla agreed to take a number of the very vulnerable little dogs that need urgent rescue. It was arranged that these should be delivered to her Shelter, and 6 were dropped off there.
Sejla then discovered that one dog was taken back to Banovici, as this little dog had been put onto the transport in error, and she had not known about her.
Sejla was shocked when she realised that this little dog was in the vehicle, but had been taken back to the awful flooded situation at Banovici.
When she found out, she immediately agreed that this little dog should be returned to the safety of the Shelter, and so little Sussie, as she is now known, finally arrived at SOS Sunshine Paws Sanctuary.
Update - 12th May 2017
Remember little Sussie? Since two serious operations last month to correct a hernia, she has been well looked after by Sejla’s mum, Sevala.
The good news is that little Sussie is soon to be adopted by a lady in Sarajevo, who lives near to Sejla and Sevala, so they can still see her.
Thank you to Sevala for all the care you have given to Sussie on her way to recovery.
