Luna Bonnie is a 7 year old, medium sized female dog of mixed breed. She is black with white patches.
Luna Bonnie was found on the streets, along with her best friend, Don Nino. Luna Bonnie had been caught by the dog catchers several times, and she was put into the notorious public shelter, Praca. She was taken out of there each time by a young lady who loved her and fed her, but she could not have her in her home. Luna Bonnie and Don Nino were rescued just before the dog catchers again visited the area where they were living on the streets, and Fata brought them to live at SOS Sunshine Paws Sanctuary.
After being there for a few days, the 2 dogs were together in the Shelter playground, when a delivery van arrived and they took their opportunity and escaped through the gate. It was pouring with rain, but despite that, Fata and Dino went to look for them and, working on the theory that they might make their way back to their old area, they walked the route that they thought they might have taken. Sure enough, after 5 hours of searching they found the 2 dogs together at the place where the kind people had been feeding them.
Everybody, including the dogs, returned to the Shelter absolutely soaked to the skin, after this adventure!
Home check and adoption fees apply (minimum donation 240 Euros/£210). Luna Bonnie will be vaccinated, neutered and chipped with her own passport.
